30 years of existence of the “Rosa Cusminsky Mogilner” Library of the Center for Research on North America

Abstract

Special university libraries are essential to support the information activities of their academic community for the generation of new knowledge, thus the development of their collections aims to satisfy the academic activities carried out in the institutions. For this reason, adequate mechanisms and processes have been implemented in order to facilitate the information services that they pro- vide. The library of the Center for Research on North America (CISAN) has had this objective since its inception and, for this reason, it has made use of information technologies to bring its services to the academic community and the public interested in topics about the North American region.
