Abstract

We cannot talk about cutting-edge technology applied to the conservation of antique books, without first knowing their background, origin and development throughout the history of mankind.
How can we envision the future and deepen the understanding of the past and present? How would we know where we come from if this information had not been disseminated?
That is why today we present, in this paper, different techniques and tools to enable the dissemination of antique books, which have been the platform for exploring the depths of knowledge, without forgetting that they need a renaissance based on the experience and interests of interdisciplinary teams.
