Proyecto para la creación de la Biblioteca de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Cuajimalpa

Abstract

This paper presents the proposed model for the creation of the Library of the Autonomous Metropolitan University - Cuajimalpa Unit, as well as the philosophy to be followed, its objectives and functions, the broad out- lines for its organization, a description of the different sections that make it up, and the strategic plan to follow.
It is noteworthy to mention that the proposal is based on concepts aimed at building a library equipped and based on cutting-edge technological schemes, whose working system will be based on total quality and continuous improvement, all the above in order to achieve the goal to build a library that, besides offering highly effective services, plays an active part in the teaching – learning process.
