Programa de necesidades de espacios del Centro de Información y Documentación de la Universidad Politécnica de San Luis Potosí: un proyecto logrado

Abstract

This paper presents the format used and the process followed to develop the program of space needs for the construction of the building for the Center for Information and Documentation (cid) of the Polytechnic University of San Luis Potosí. It explains that the same academic objectives of this University make it responsible for operating an efficient information system to support teaching, study and research. It discusses a number of considerations to take into account during the planning stage of building an information service unit, in order to calculate the space that requires an institution of this nature. Finally, it outlines the achievements made in constructing the building for the cid based on the request on the needs agenda prepared for that purpose.
