Abstract

This paper aims to give an overview of the information behavior manifested by the winemakers from the region of Ensenada in the state of Baja California. This provides definitions of what is information behavior, aspects of how the people who grow grapes seek information; a brief sketch is presented about the history of the vine in Mexico, particularly in the valleys of San Antonio de las Minas and Guadalupe, Baja California, as well as the methodology used for this research and some of the results obtained.
