Abstract

This work shows part of the life and work of the illustrious Mexican historian Rafael García Granados. The beginnings of his professional life abroad are highlighted and how he became a diligent and passionate historian reflected in his tireless activity in the study and teaching of history, heritage and art both in Mexico and Spain. The main mentions and recognitions of the many that he received during his lifetime stand out, as well as the works and research studies that to this day continue to be of high value for the study of history.
