The historical funds of the library of the Bio-Medical Campus University of Rome. A humanistic education in medicine

Libraries can play a significant role in the transmission of the ethical values and in the humanistic education of future medical professionals. This paper presents the activities promoted by the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome (UCBM) library in the creation and preservation of a historical section. The objective of this article is to highlight the importance of the historical collections in promoting a more humanistic vision of the health sciences.
